With a Master of Science (MS) degree in Canine Sciences from Bergin University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from CSU Sacramento in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Modification, I apply positive, force-free (punishment-free) methods (and show you how to apply these methods) using a variety of approaches to both reward desired behavior as well as extinguish undesired behavior in your dog(s)/pets. I continually refine and adapt my training skills to the most effective practices based on evidenced-based studies performed by top universities in the field of veterinary behavior such as Tufts University and UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. If your pet behavior situation is beyond my current ability, I will refer you to local specialists in certain types of dogs/breeds and/or to the UC Davis Clinical Animal Behavior Service.

I am also certified in Fear Free concepts which equips me with the knowledge and techniques to work in partnership with veterinary teams to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress and improve a dog's emotional wellbeing during veterinary care and home care.

Training is available for puppies and adult dogs.
